POYC Web Page submission Guidelines

It is exciting to see that the web page is gaining more and more support. As the web page grows its' complexity increases and it becomes more difficult to manage. In order to post web articles and items most efficiently, please keep the following guidelines in mind when creating your submission.

1)    Submit articles in Microsoft WORD (.doc) format. Text files are also ok to send.

2)    Keep it simple. Leave out all special formatting and imbedded graphics.

3)    The standard font for our web site is ARIAL 12pt.

4)    If you want graphics or photos included please submit as a separate file. Please keep files under 150K in size. If requested I can scale down as needed.

5)    If possible, include where you would like the information posted.

6)    If submitting an update to an existing page, please include the page URL (web address) so that I can easily find the correction.

7)    Submit items and articles to webmaster@poyc.org or bpeterson@thirstyduck.net

8)    When posted to the web you will always get a reply stating such. If you don't get a reply confirming posting, it likely didn't get done. Simply resend to me noting it was a second attempt.
