MEETING INFORMATION

I would like to acknowledge the help I have been provided as I assume the responsibilities of the position of club secretary.  It is by all reports a daunting task and one that can be overwhelming.  Maybe I am being a bit naïve but, with all the help I have had, the job thus far has been relatively easy.

Thanks to Donna and P/C Dave Printz, P/C Nancy and Gary Bess, Gene Neill and Jim Hamner for all your support, I will continue to turn to you for your corporate knowledge and guidance.

MEETINGS: Board Meetings occur on the second Tuesday at 1900 hrs and the General Meeting is always the fourth Tuesday at 1930, unless otherwise stated.  Please refer to the calendar in the chart.

KEY CARDS: Please contact Capt. Jim Hamner at 253-858-6096 for replacement of lost, damaged or new cards.   You may also send an email to me via secretary @poyc.org.  I can forward your request to Jim.  Speaking of key cards, please help us complete the verification of key card before 11/15/2008.  All keys not accounted for on 11/15/2008 will be shut off and you will have to contact Jim to have them turned on. You may send your information to me via e-mail, drop it off in my drawer in the cloak room, send it via mail, place the information on the sheet posted on the exit door or even call Donna or Jim with the information.

NAME TAGS: There is a sign up sheet located on the clubhouse bulletin board.  The cost is $8.00 and will be placed on your quarterly bill. Finished tags will be at the ship store.

COMPUTER UPDATE: Please ensure you have sent in your updated information.  We will be working on publishing the Yearbook and want to ensure that your information is as current as possible.

MINUTES OF MEETINGS:  BOT minutes will be posted on the club bulletin board soon after they are corrected and approved. The General Meeting minutes will be posted no later than one week prior to the next general meeting.  Please review them.  If you have corrections to the General Meeting minutes, please send me an e-mail or mention the correction at the next general membership meeting.  I will endeavor to have the minutes posted to the web site once approved.

MAIL:  Our club address is not for personal mail. Please ensure that you give your private mail address to your friends, family, business associates and others as necessary.  We can not be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of your mail to you.

Thanks for your patience and support as I learn the many facets of this job.

Georgie Kelley,

Secretary
